I am doing some research on the Hightowers that were mostly from the Wright County Missouri area. Of special interest right now is Mary IvaHightower. I saw on Ancestry she might have been married to a man with the last name of Duncan. Just wondering about this info and any family on him. She later married Hopkins and Brown. Mary died in 1970 in Cedar county and is buried in the Stockton cemetery next to Ellis Brown.

Hi, my name is Marcia Schmid, and my daughter Bianca Schmid, is the daughter of Oliver Schmid, and therefore the Grand Daughter of James Hubert Hightower and Hildagard Schmid (now Orth). Please feel free to add Hubert's granddaughter, Bianca Schmid, to the family tree, as although she was not fortunate enough to have met Hubert face-to-face (due to us living in Sydney, Australia); the Hightower family has always kindly kept in touch with her, most recently via Facebook through Kenny Hightower. Sadly earlier in the week, Hubert passed away, and so in researching a little bit about my daughters family over in Texas (the Hightowers), I came across this ancestry site, which is great.
