My Grandfather was E. (Erastas) Turner Dunlap. I was born in 1960. My Brother Dane Lee Greer died on 05/16/1976 and is buried in the same family plot as my father. My mother was Louise Dunlap Greer , she died 09/05/1990.

I am trying to figure out who Pleasant's father was. I also have another Cox, William Henry b 1811 who is attached to the wrong family tree. YDNA testing has proven that he is related to the Samuel Champion Cox line and not to Lt. David Cox and Andrew.

My mother's family legend says that they had a history in Brazil. Her father was a Reddoch and her mother a Wright, both Texan born.

I can't connect the mother Alta Marie Wright Reddoch to Jesse Wright but would like to know of any info. I believe her brothers were Elmer, Dafford and maybe Rubin. (Incidentally Jesse Wright history while going to Brazil and his misadventures there are Texas-stye legendary.)

I am still at (423) 267-0679 and (423) 504-1621. My Mother Roberta Gardner Davis passed away on October 12, 2015 herein in Chattanooga. She is buried next to my Father Roy Davis who died March 15, 2007 and are buried in the Tyner Cemetery at Bonney Oaks Road on Hickory Valley Road just South of the old TNT Plant in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN. I am a descendant of Robert Beall Gardner and Mary "Maria" Eugenia Hightower and have been impressed with her brother's William Flournoy Hightower's life from what I have read. If you are not aware, Robert Beall Gardner was an MD living in Booneville, MS during the civil war, which is near Coririth, MS and the battle of Shilo where he as all other MD's were involved.
